Project Description:

Supply and installation of 4 x 600 KVA diesel generator containerized sets with 400V/11 KV switchgear and 300 A NEC/NER containerized. Automatic fuel supply system supplied from 2 x 9000 litre tanks. Steel reinforced base frame was installed on the roof to support the weight bearing of the generators. Rigging of containers onto roof structure. Installation of metal framework for easy access to the generators and steel staircase for roof access.

Project Description:

Diesel Innovations was proud to be part of the National Treasury emergency power installation. We secured the order for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and commission of a 4 x 600kVA synchronisation plant. The generators are incorporated into the building medium voltage reticulation by means of local 400V/11kVA step-up transformers and 11kV switchgear. The installation was implemented around seamless transitioning from utility to emergency generator supply. The 4 x 600kVA generators are fuelled from an automatic refueling system consisting of 2 x 9000 litre bulk storage tanks. The scope included a supporting frame structure designed to support the new generator and switchgear plant on the roof of the existing infrastructure.

Supply 10 x mobile 500 KVA container sets coated in marine rust-resistant paint and 2 x dry-type mobile transformers. Each generator contained with its own set of cables for quick installation for the mobile fleet in case of emergencies or disasters.
